1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using HiChicken ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
HiChicken is a peer-to-peer recognition platform that integrates with Slack to help teams build a culture of appreciation through emoji-based recognition and rewards.
3. Use of Service
You agree to use HiChicken:
- In accordance with your organization's policies and guidelines
- In a responsible and respectful manner
- Not for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
- Not to harass, abuse, or harm other users
4. User Accounts
To use HiChicken, you must authenticate via Slack. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Slack account. HiChicken is not responsible for any unauthorized access to your account.
5. Recognition and Rewards
- Each user receives a weekly allocation of chickens to give to other team members
- Unused weekly chickens do not carry over to the next week
- Received chickens accumulate in your account until redeemed
- Rewards availability and value are determined by your organization's administrator
- HiChicken reserves the right to adjust recognition rules and reward systems
6. Billing and Payments
Certain features of HiChicken require a paid subscription. By subscribing:
- You agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription plan
- Fees are charged via Stripe on a recurring basis
- You can cancel your subscription at any time
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
7. Data and Privacy
HiChicken collects and processes data necessary to operate the Service. We are committed to protecting your privacy. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of HiChicken are owned by HiChicken and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
9. Limitation of Liability
HiChicken is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to HiChicken at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
